Our Story
Love at first sight may seem like a clichéd trope, but it is simply the best way to describe Rachael and Solomon's love story. Both Dayton area natives, Solomon and Rachael never lived further than 25 miles from one another. Fate would bring them even closer together, when they both decided to attend the University of Dayton for their college degrees. However, love works in mysterious ways, and Rachael and Solomon would never actually meet each other during their college tenures. Despite living in the same buildings and having many mutual friends in college, our two love birds didn't meet until a fateful trip to Daytona Beach, Florida as part of the post graduation Dayton 2 Daytona trip in May 2014.
It was a perfect summer night on the beach when these two would finally meet. When they first locked eyes, the connection was instantaneous. Rachael was thoroughly impressed by Solomon's ability to speak, in fluent Parseltongue, the words "you're beautiful." Meanwhile, Solomon could not stop thinking about Rachael's radiant positive energy and gorgeous smile. Both realized it was true love during a game of duck duck goose on the beach, when Rachael selected Solomon as "goose." Solomon would go on to propose to Rachael on the beach that very night (with a plastic ring). She said yes :)
Fast forward 8 years to April 16, 2022, when Solomon would propose again (with a real ring this time). She still said yes :)

The past 10 years have been filled with more love and laughter than either of us could have possibly dreamed of. We'd like to thank you for all of the love and support you have given us throughout our journey.
We can't wait to celebrate this special day with all of you as we begin this new chapter of our lives!
